Oh what a feeling to Neil Armstrong must have had to be making the first footprint on the moon , amazing for sure , nice video and music , I was reading his speech that he made to the public at that time and it was so nice he thanked and praised all the people involved in the actual designing and making of the spaceship, so much hard work went into that event ever being accomplished and well worth it , an amazing part of history .

What I have always found interesting is the controversy over exactly what Armstrong said. It's always been "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

The semantics are what's argued because "man" and "mankind" are the same thing. If you listen to the broadcast, he says the first part, then hesitates as though he's suddenly aware he left out the "a", as in "One small step for A man..."

The tape has been analyzed over and over, but there's also some interference at the same time and perhaps the "a" was cut out. Even if it was LEFT out, the meaning was clear, huh?
