Never Had It

But it sounds pretty good!

You Are Apple Iced Tea

You are warm hearted and generous. You believe it's important to make others feel comfortable.

You are a bit of a cozy homebody who feels out of place in the warm weather. You'll drink iced tea but you prefer the hot stuff.

You are more serious than most, and you shy away from superficial people. You prefer to look beyond the surface.

You like deep conversations, engrossing novels, and moving films. You find ideas and human interaction fascinating.

I put these things in as filler, just a free, fun thing to post, and never take them seriously, hope everyone knows this.

This one hits pretty close to home, though, at least it's how I perceive myself to be. I do like hot tea better than iced, but hot apple tea sounds better.

Mike im glad I have you as a friend even though its 'on line' as I have pretty much similar ways and beliefs, give me a true to the heart person any day over a superficial one.

Never had too many flavours of ( rosy lee ) iced tea but I hate this one they drink here in NC so sweet and sickly, being a Brit I guess everyone here thinks I drink lots of the stuff , like one now and again especially if I have a cold,

How funny, Mike...I was apple iced tea, too. Just give me a glass of iced sweet tea and I'm happy. I do like peach tea though. My favorite hot tea is something mint flavored. I enjoy hot tea in the winter (or what passes for winter here in the Dallas area) especially since I don't like any sort of coffee. Wonder why I never did like coffee? Mother and Dad sure drank it. You like coffee, don't you? Sandy drinks it and so do both the boys. Guess as usual I'm the strange one of the family!

I've never understood the southern penchant for over-sweetening iced tea, Alison. I prefer un-sweetened iced tea, especially since I try to cut out as much sugar as I can. I don't make it here at home, but sometimes order it when eating out.

I put a couple portions of artificial sweetener in my hot tea, though, but don't HAVE to have it, sometimes, depending upon what sort of tea it is, such as a nice Earl Grey, lemon is enough. (never liked milk in my hot tea, though)

If people really like sweet tea, they should make a simple sugar syrup to sweeten it with. Sugar doesn't dissolve well in cold liquids. I've taken mint and frozen the leaves in individual pre-sweetened ice cubes in the freezer tray, very nice touch for tea lovers.

When I've been sick, I've made Hot Tea Toddys, hot tea, honey, some good bourbon and the juice of a half lemon (giving me the excuse to drink another because there's still the other half lemon left!)

There's not enough caffeine to keep me away, and the honey/booze makes me sleepy, plus the lemon gives an extra dose of Vit. C when you need it the most. It's even better if you drink it in a hot, hot bath, raising your internal temperature and helping to "burn out" the fever and other symptoms of a cold or flu.

Sharon, I don't drink coffee every day, but here lately I've been drinking a couple cups of "tea bag" coffee, it's better than instant. The problem with coffee is that it tastes so good with a cigarette.

I know several people who have quit coffee because it's getting so expensive.

Thanks for posting!

"keep me AWAKE". Too lazy to fix the post, too lazy to proof-read before sending.
