Wind Map

From the website:

An invisible, ancient source of energy surrounds us—energy that powered the first explorations of the world, and that may be a key to the future.

This map shows you the delicate tracery of wind flowing over the US.

For some reason, Blogger sometimes saves the drafts of posts. It saves them while I'm posting; usually the published post is the only one saved but every now and then I'll have multiple copies of posts in the drafts folder.

So, I was cleaning the extra posts out of the folder and for some reason after deleting a few posts it defaulted to the "all posts" folder. I deleted the original wind map post, plus the comments, so I had to re-post it.

That's a pretty cool map. It looks like some of the wind from the hurricane is stirring up the dust in my neck of the woods. Wish it had brought some rain, too. Just an inch or so---not the double digits like it dropped in Louisiana and Mississippi though.
