biblioklept

biblioklept bib·li·o·klept [bib-lee-uh-klept] noun
a person who steals books.

We need to add that to the list of capital crimes, worthy of the death penalty, along with those who dog-ear pages.

Stealing books is not to be taken lightly! But, I can use all the lottery tickets that aren't winners as bookmarks and don't have to dog-ear the pages!
Actually I do a lot of reading on my Nook, so if someone stole that they would be getting close to 750 books. Most of them were free, but it would still not be funny! At least I wouldn't totally lose them since I could get a new e-reader and download them again from the website. Technology makes me smile! I still love the smell of the library, the feel of a book in my hands, etc. but I also love my e-reader.

I don't read much these days; I can't find anything I really like. I don't even own many books, having given all my sci fi collection to the boys.

I see links to free Kindle books all the time, not sure if that format is compatible w/ a Nook. I've got a post I need to work up about some free e-books in diff. formats, was looking f/ the link just last night. I d/l several classic books in mp3 from there
